For Couples & Planners

Wedding gifts your party will keep beyond the day

Hand-engraved keepsakes for officiants, parents, grandparents, and the wedding party — the gifts they keep on the shelf instead of in the drawer.

Thank-you gifts your wedding party actually keeps

Bridesmaid robes get worn twice. Groomsmen flasks live in a drawer. The wedding-party gifts that survive the honeymoon are the ones engraved with a name and a date — a cutting board a mother-of-the-bride uses every Sunday, a decanter the officiant pours from at his own dinner table, a cigar case a father-of-the-groom carries for the next twenty anniversaries. The date on the piece is the reason it never gets given away.

Cool Beams is a custom laser engraving studio in Georgetown, Texas. We hand-engrave every piece in-house, ship most orders within 2–5 business days of design approval, and prioritize rush work when a wedding date is close. Officiant one-offs, matched parent sets, and bulk orders for the entire wedding party are all quoted directly — no add-to-cart, no minimums, no guessing at what a run of twelve tumblers will cost.

More to choose from

Built around the roles at your wedding — not one generic gift

There isn't one wedding-party gift; there are seven or eight, each tuned to the role the recipient played. We organize the catalog around that so a couple (or a planner) can pick by role and get the tone right:

  • The officiant — a decanter set, a plaque, or an engraved journal that reads more like a thank-you letter than a wedding favor. The piece your officiant keeps on a shelf and points to.
  • Parents and grandparents — cutting boards, tumblers, coasters, and wine glasses engraved with the line the couple wanted to say out loud and couldn't. "Thank you for raising the love of my life" belongs on a keepsake, not a card.
  • Groomsmen, ushers, and readers — bottle openers, pen sets, and rocks glasses engraved with each recipient's name so no one gets the identical gift twice.
  • The extended party — a ceremony-date coaster set orderable in bulk for everyone else who read, ushered, sang, or stood up front.

Everything is engraved with the ceremony date. Ship nationwide or pick up in Georgetown the week of the wedding.

How it works

  1. 1. Tell us about the wedding

Send us the ceremony date, the roles you're gifting (officiant, parents, groomsmen, readers), and any wording the couple wants engraved. A rough headcount is enough to start.

  2. 2. We quote in tiers

You'll get a written quote with two or three price points per role — a signature option, a solid mid-range, and a budget-friendly pick — with bulk pricing across the whole order. No deposit yet.

  3. 3. Approve the proof

We send a digital proof of the engraving for every piece before we touch a blank. Once you approve, our studio produces the run and reviews each item before it ships.

  4. 4. Ship or pick up

Most orders ship USPS Priority within 2–5 business days of proof approval. Local pickup in Georgetown, TX is available the week of the wedding for last-minute additions.

If you have something specific in mind that's not listed, mention it in your inquiry — we can usually accommodate it.

Common questions

Can you engrave a whole wedding party at once — different names, same design?
Yes. That's most of what we do. Send us the name list and the base design and we'll produce every piece with the correct individual name plus the shared ceremony date. Bulk pricing applies across the full order.
Our wedding is in three weeks. Can you still make it?
Usually, yes. Most orders ship 2–5 business days from proof approval, and we prioritize rush work when a ceremony date is fixed. Tell us the date in your inquiry and we'll confirm turnaround before we quote.
Do we see a proof before you engrave anything?
Always. Every piece gets a digital proof with the exact layout, wording, and font. We don't cut a single blank until you've approved it in writing.
Can we mix and match — one officiant gift, four groomsmen, two parent boards?
That's the norm. We'll quote a mixed order across roles and bulk-discount the total. Most couples order five to eight different pieces in one go.
Is local pickup an option?
Yes. Our studio is in Georgetown, TX, and pickup is available by appointment — helpful if the ceremony is nearby or if you're adding a last-minute recipient the week of.
